Worked as a temporary administrative assistant in the claims department using excel on a daily basis, inputting data, printing, faxing, sorting post and sending off payment packs to their solicitors.

I spent four months travelling the world, visiting Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Dubai.

I work as a waitress in a local restaurant which involves waiting on tables, working on the bar and maintaining the standard of the restaurant.
Aug 2011 – May 2012 Student Academic Writing Mentor
I am a writing mentor in my third year of university. This invites first and second years who are having trouble with their academic writing to book appointments as I will help guide them to improve their writing.
2006 – 2011 Harvesters Restaurant, Haywards Heath
I was employed locally part-time during college and university serving customers as a waitress at this restaurant. My role involved being assigned a section of tables in which I greeted, took and served their food order and took the payment from the customers. I previously worked in the children’s play area organizing parties and games.
I achieved my Duke of Edinburgh Award Bronze and Silver. At university I was a fresher representative and also completed a first aid course. I have recently gained the ‘Lancaster Award’ at University.
Hobbies and Interests:
I enjoy socialising with my friends. In my free time, I enjoy dancing and I was part of a University Dance group for three years, in which we prepared dance shows each year and for other social events. I enjoy travel, blogging and new adventures.
